All summer long, a team of sculptors and young people in socio-professional integration are working on a monumental work of art on the TOHU site. Come celebrate the unveiling of this collective project during La FALLA de Saint-Michel, presented in collaboration with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Musical and circus festivities are on the schedule.

Ayrad's concert
Friday, September 30th at 8pm

Ayrad is the fusion of singer, guitarist and composer of Moroccan origin Hamza Abouabdelmajid, established in Montreal since 2005, Annick Beauvais (oboe, backing vocals), Anit Ghosh (violin, backing vocals), Marton Maderspach (percussion, backing vocals), Sylvain Plante (drums, percussion) and Gabriel Brochu-Lajoie (bass, keyboard). These musicians from different backgrounds never hesitate to transgress musical boundaries.

The band explores rock and pop sounds and integrates different genres such as electro, Gypsy funk, desert rock, raï, Reggada, chaâbi and even Latin grooves. A unique blend that attracts adventurous listeners and excites world music lovers.

Their synergistic power in concert and on record leaves no audience indifferent. Their namesake album (2014) and Zoubida (2018) have garnered numerous awards (ADISQ, OPUS, Canadian Folk Music Awards) and mentions (JUNOS) and have allowed the group to perform across Canada and abroad (Scotland, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, United States).
