EXHIBITION PRESENTED OUTSIDE AROUND THE CN CORRIDOR
A renowned illustrator and filmmaker who devoted his career to environmental issues, Frédéric Back made a poetic plea on behalf of nature and left a strong oeuvre behind, from the iconic L’homme qui plantait des arbres (1987), inspired by a short story by Jean Giono to Tout-rien (1968) to CRAC! (1981) to Le fleuve aux grandes eaux (1993).
With his unique approach, the artist conveys his beliefs in works that deal with environmental and preservation issues. The opportunity to discover a great artist of the humanist school and the park that proudly bears his name.
Vernissage to be held at a later date featuring a conference from Süzel Back Drapeau, Administrator at Atelier Frédéric-Back.
THE FREE ACTIVITIES ARE MADE POSSIBLE THANKS TO THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE CITY OF MONTREAL.
