In the installation Atisokan, which means "stories" in the Atikamekw language, multidisciplinary artist Meky Ottawa proposes a journey through the stories and symbols of the Atikamekw nation. With her contemporary graphic treatment and sensitive style, Meky Ottawa takes a fresh, authentic look at Aboriginal identity. Going beyond old clichés, the exhibition proposes new ways of telling our stories.
