To mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Canada, the Vietnamese Cultural Centre and La TOHU invite painter Renée duRocher to present her exhibition TRACES. Through works of rich color and bold composition, the artist evokes the places and people of northern Vietnam.
About Renée duRocher
A native of Granby, Renée duRocher has been exhibiting her work nationally and internationally since 1976. After a 40-year professional career, she has held over fifty solo and group exhibitions. Her works are now part of several public, corporate and museum collections in Quebec, including the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke, the Musée d'art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul and the Musée Pierre-Boucher de Trois-Rivières. Her work in the visual arts and her commitment to the community have earned her numerous awards, including the title of Ambassador of Culture for her hometown.
