Extravaganz'Arts

On the edge of circus, street theatre, visual art and puppet manipulation, the world of Extravaganz'arts is resolutely atypical. Jacques & Zèbrelle, characters with oversized heads, come from an imaginary and atypical world of surrealist and romantic inspiration. Accompanied by a juggler moving in a tricycle, the two protagonists with a height of 12 feet wander on festive and catchy rhythms. Their heads, meticulously made from recycled materials, make them real living works of art! Saturday the 28th of May, at 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4:00 pm

Come and discover their creations and attend a performance by a professional storyteller during this festive event for the whole family!

Mentor Storyteller Group 1 - Winnie Jay: Sunday, May 29 at 1:30 p.m.

Tales, stories and folklore, Winnie J. is a passionate oral storyteller. Inspired by the Djeli of West Africa, she mixes historical elements with a touch of magic that will take you on a journey through time and place.

Storyteller-mentor group 2 - Danielle Godin with La Lavandière d'Hochelaga : Sunday, May 29 at 2:30 pm

A creative tale with a historical flavour La lavandière d'Hochelaga tells the story of the arrival of a royal daughter in Montreal in 1668. Actor/storyteller Danielle Godin, who has appeared in Lance et compte, Scoop, Ramdam and more recently in District 31, will take you on a journey through time!
