Many pollinating insects have developed a highly effective defense mechanism… stinging their predators! Unpleasant swelling, painful itching, allergic reactions; we have many good reasons to be on our guard. However, caution doesn’t mean panic! By trying to better understand stinging insects, we can be less afraid, coexist more peacefully with them, and maybe even… become friends!
