New: TOHU makes its shows accessible to everyone!
WHAT IS A RELAXED PERFORMANCE?
TOHU’s relaxed performances offer a more relaxed approach and a tailored welcome to create a calm and inclusive environment. These performances are accessible to all individuals, whatever their abilities, as well as young children, individuals with anxiety disorders or those who are not comfortable with the codes of a traditional performance hall.
To better accommodate people with specific needs, our hall adopts a more tolerant attitude towards noise and movement during these performances. Additional support tools will also be made available to the public such as a relaxation area (colouring, cushions, etc.), the possibility of familiarizing oneself with the venue beforehand, a guide to visual cues, a dedicated resource person, booster seats, noise-cancelling earmuffs, transmitters, etc. If at any time you feel the need to leave the room, please do not hesitate to contact one of our reception staff. We will be happy to assist you
For any assistance concerning:
- Reservations (for disabled seating, special seating requests or any other questions): please contact the box office at 514 376-8648 or billet@tohu.ca.
- Relaxed performances (to come and familiarize yourself with the venue before the show or for any other questions): please contact Claire Liberge at decontractees@tohu.ca.
