Recirquel's new production, Paradisum, explores the myth of rebirth after the silence of a destroyed world, where the body is the means of communication and movement is the only common language. The creatures of this idyllic existence unfold from the swirling, changing natural forces of the “fabric of life” that vibrates around them, in order to reach the anima mundi, the soul of the world, through scenes of purification, birth, awakening, and rituals.
Directed and choreographed by Bence Vági, the production explores new possibilities in circus dance, a genre that combines contemporary dance and circus, in search of an ethereal body language that expresses humanity's concerns.
Performance disciplines: The show features six world-class circus artists performing six genres: swinging pole, aerial hoop, aerial straps, ladder juggling, drum and dance, and handstand.

About Recirquel Circus Dance
One of the most important contemporary circus companies, Recirquel was founded by director and choreographer Bence Vági. It created circus dance, a new genre representing a unique style of contemporary circus combining dance, theater, and circus. In recent years, Recirquel has experimented with even more innovative forms of performing arts to create formats combining immersive theater and site-specific performances with circus dance.
