Join us on August 7, 8 and 9 for the fourth edition of Lumières de Saint‑Michel!
Celebrate the magic of summer during the fourth edition of Lumières de Saint‑Michel, from August 7 to 9! Three days of festivities await to light up the neighbourhood and bring people of all ages together through free, creative and festive activities.
On the program:
- Friday: Kick off the weekend with the Foulée Illuminée, a fun and inclusive run organized in partnership with parkrun. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting out, come enjoy a luminous experience with family or friends! See the Foulée Illuminée guide.
- Saturday: Join the Grand Lantern Parade! Gather your neighbours, dress up and take part in this magical procession that will transform the streets into a vibrant spectacle of colour.
- All weekend: Enjoy a dazzling program at TOHU featuring circus shows, theatre, concerts and participatory workshops for the whole family.

Lantern‑Making Workshop
Join us for unique workshops where you can create a luminous lantern for the community as part of the Lumières de Saint‑Michel celebration.
Inside, slip a secret message for the person who will carry it during Lumières de Saint‑Michel.
The Foulée Illuminée
Join the Foulée illuminée for free : a festive and fun run organized by TOHU in collaboration with parkrun. Untimed and open to all, the Foulée illuminée offers a unique visual and sensory experience, perfect for those looking to try running with family or friends while exploring Frédéric-Back Park at dusk.
Bring your lights and wear your brightest clothes and accessories!
Two routes are available, either for running or walking: 2 km or 6 km.
